General Skilled Immigration

General Skilled Migration Services and Programs

Australia has introduced a General Skilled Migration Program to attract highly skilled workers and address labor shortages. These programs provide various pathways to permanent residency, allowing qualified professionals to contribute to the Australian economy while securing their future.

The initiative is based on selecting migrants according to their skills, work experience, and occupation demand. With skilled migration services and programs, professionals can align their qualifications with Australia’s workforce needs.

Understanding the General Skilled Migration Pathways

Australia offers different visa pathways under the GSM program, designed to meet specific labor market demands. By aligning your qualifications and experience with these needs, you can explore options for permanent residency through independent, nominated, or regional visas.

At PIML, we provide professional guidance and support to help you navigate these pathways successfully.

Requirements for General Skilled Migration

To qualify for GSM visas, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Be under 45 years of age at the time of invitation.

  • Have an occupation listed on the Skilled Occupation List (SOL).

  • Obtain a positive skills assessment from the relevant assessing authority.

  • Achieve a minimum of 65 points on the points test (higher scores improve chances of invitation).

  • Meet English language proficiency through IELTS, TOEFL, or PTE Academic.
